GDP Partnership Secures Prestigious FCA Full Authorisation
Local bank mediation company, GDP Partnership, has been recognised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for its continued professionalism and expertise in debt advisory services. It is now the only debt mediation company in Northern Ireland fully authorised by the FCA to carry out this service.
This ensures financially distressed consumers can obtain accurate and timely information from the best professional advisors in the industry which can be crucial when dealing with a crisis.
Belfast based GDP Partnership is a privately owned company, set up five years ago, and provides a number of services across asset management, bank mediation, restructuring, corporate finance and real estate advice. They are now recognised as market leaders within their field and have three divisions, GDP Capital, GDP Equity Experts and Smartwizards, all of which have dedicated professional teams of experts who have the necessary resources and expertise to help individuals with their needs.
James Gibbons, Principal GDP Partnership said; “GDP Partnership was set up some five years ago to deliver highly specialised advice and solutions for individuals and businesses who are affected by debt. To date we’ve assisted hundreds of cases and currently have over 250 clients with £220,000,000 of distressed debt for who we continue to get successful outcomes each week. In effect we pioneered the term debt mediation where we engage with banks and other lenders on behalf of our clients to remedy or discharge their debts.
“I am delighted that the Financial Conduct Authority has recognised the work that we do. We are fully authorised credit brokers and can arrange unsecured loans in addition to offering debt adjusting and debt counselling.”
GDP Partnership has also been awarded full member status to ‘The Association of Business Recovery Professionals’. They are the only practice in this organisation that are not Insolvency Practitioners, that in itself is an accolade.
“2016 has already seen some volatility across the financial market and people are still in debt and business loans continued to be sold by banks to private equity companies. Worse may be to come. We would urge people to act NOW to address their financial woes as solutions are at hand.” continued James Gibbons.
“This formal recognition of our work both by the FCA and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals will give people confidence to deal with the foremost debt advisory practice in Northern Ireland. We would encourage anyone that finds themselves in debt to get the right information and guidance as soon as possible.”
